Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully. Your payment acknowledges that you understand and accept each clause below on behalf of your entire party.
Formal acceptance of your booking will be sent via email once we receive the rental payment. The guest making the booking acts on behalf of the entire party and confirms that everyone has read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
A 50% deposit of the total rental amount secures your reservation. If the booking is made fewer than 60 days before arrival, payment in full is required at the time of booking.
The remaining balance is due no later than eight weeks before the start of the rental period. This balance equals the full rental cost minus the deposit already paid.
Most properties require damage waiver insurance. A small number require a refundable security deposit, payable with the final balance or, in some cases, in cash on arrival. The deposit is returned in full or in part—less the reasonable cost of repairs, replacements, or administrative fees—no later than eight weeks after departure. The security deposit in no way limits your liability to the owner.
If the balance or security deposit is not received by the stated deadlines, Commendable Rentals may cancel the booking and retain the deposit, without prejudice to any applicable cancellation charges. For reservations made within eight weeks of arrival, the deposit, balance, and security deposit (if required) are all payable at the time of booking.
Cancellations must be made in writing and take effect on the date received.
Commendable Rentals and the property owner accept no liability for accidents, injuries, or mishaps occurring on or near the property. Guests are responsible for supervising children and any visitors for the duration of their stay.
Guests agree not to exceed the stated maximum occupancy and to report any losses or damage both during and at the end of their stay so issues can be fixed before the next arrival.
Guests agree to cover any loss or damage beyond applicable insurance coverage, to keep the property in good order, and to leave it tidy on departure. Although a final clean is included, Commendable Rentals reserves the right to charge the card on file for excessive cleaning if, in our reasonable opinion, the property is left in an unacceptable condition.
